Great advice for sure.
Ran to the bathroom...im beat!
Also, replace your shoes often. They take a beating and save us. As soon as you feel maybe they arent doing a good job get rid of them no matter how new. They are expendable.
Thoughts from a guy that stress fractured his foot over training on retired gear.
No doubt. Awesome!
I’m still pokin up the hill every day. I’ve been getting 2-3 miles a day depending on how I feel. Minus some sleet/rain last week, it’s been great weather to be walking in the woods lately.
1 mile ruck.
3.25 mi yesterday
Day before yesterday, 4 kilometers on logging roads, trails, over a cut block or two, and up the very steep side of a small mountain, with 25lbs of gear on. My partners smart watch counted over 13k steps.
I'm still sore.
What's a kilometer ?
Did 3 miles on the treadmill today and average 7 minute miles.
Can't wait until it gets warmer outside! 33 degrees today here... Those of you that run on the treadmill and outside which do you find easier? Do you find you run faster on the treadmill or outdoors?
Yeah... it was sunny here today and relatively warm, in the 40's. But the wind made it feel not so good. So I did 3.5 mi on the mill. Outside is much better for me. I think faster and usually a better workout with the uneven surfaces, etc.
Went to the half way point, then turned around...
2 miles today.
Did 3 miles on the treadmill today. News is predicting 6 inches of snow tomorrow...
Will winter ever end so I can get outside???
1.5 mile warmup last night
12 miles Friday.
5.5 miles on an elliptical yesterday
5.5 miles on the elliptical, then back/biceps and legs weight training. Definitely left the gym feeling I punished myself, but feeling amazing this morning.
