Let's get us some Bicycle LOVE going on around here!
Some musique for this thread.
My dream bike.
Hopefully, I can earn enough this year to buy one.
It's a 29" wearing Jones loop bars.
that was just a dream
Tandem Mountain Bike -- Ibis Cousin It
Very unique bike.
Fuji Crosstown 2.5 hybrid/lifestyle bike. I've put 1000 + miles on it. Best bike I've ever had. Paid $250 for it nearly new. I have certainly gotten my moneys worth out of it. Bike seat is on a gas shock that squeaks and I haven't been able to get it to stop. Sometimes when I'm using a lot of force going up a steep incline the pedals give way. I'm thinking I'm overcoming the spring arm of the shifting system. Sucks when you're using a ton of force and the pedal drops out from under you for half a rotation. It has been awesome otherwise though and I have had zero issues with it. Columbus has some great bike trails and we try to get out and enjoy them as much as possible. We might ride 10 miles in one direction and see two other people. Absolutely crazy some of them get used this little. The trails are about 18-20 ft wide paved asphalt with a line down the middle and they go through lots of parks but basically are otherwise in the middle of the woods in no- man's land as a part of conservation type setting. definitely one of my favorite things about columbus though there are plenty of things to love.
Wife's Fuji in front of mine. An Absolute ONE.9
Serious cycling nut here. I have a dedicated room in our house just for them since we don't have a garage.
You'll be seeing more posts for sure.
Here are my last two builds with custom frames:
Desalvo All-Roads Bike. Goes anywhere with just a tire swap, I had it built for gravel riding
Rock Lobster Road Bike. Just a very fast steel frame road machine sub 20lbs.
Slade -- be careful about that spring giving loose. If it gives at just the wrong time and your nut sack meets your top tube in a nanosecond.............there is no need to ask how I could know such thing.
My off-road and all around fun bike, Specialized Fatboy, first generation.
My workhorse hybrid, this one hauls me and anything I want to carry on it.
My daily rider when weather permits.
This lead me to an enjoyable read about Paul Sadoff's Rock Lobster bikes. Thanks for posting.
1896 Pierce (Pierce Arrow)
I'm not sure if I should restore or ride as it is.
I have the original wood covered with leather grips and the correct wooden rims
And look what else...Pierce Matchless headlight
Wow, that's a nice bike. ^
Here's my current bike since 2010. Marin Bolinas Ridge Disc. This pic is a few years old. Last spring, I replaced the stock bars with a set of Jones Loop Bars that come stock on my dream Surly ECR. Vast improvement. I'll try to get a new pic soon.
None of y'all have banana seats? Or baseball cards in the spokes?
Where's the dislike button?
These are my daily rides.
1998 Giant DS2 Warp
My Fathers 1963 Schwinn 3-Speed Racer
It is a little small for me but it is my Dad's.
