New tyres, brake pads, fork oil, some maintenance and increasing the fork travel with 2 cm.

I'm waiting for a new pair of grips tomorrow and the only thing left to change at some point in future is the brakes - I want more power and hope to put some of the new SLX by the summer.

Changed my vote to No. Sold all my bikes. Just don't have the time for another hobby that doesn't involve my wife.

    New grips, very grippy indeed.
The old ones wore faster than the gloves. The rubber feels like the Kraton that Cold Steel is using.

Outside is cold, raining, nasty weather - typical March.
    Good time for some maintenance.

Yes, I wanted one for a long time but always got something else. Got this one as a gift, it is truly awesome, it makes everything so much easier.

You put the mud guard the wrong way. Reverse it and it will protect you much better. ;)

I know, but the fork has a reversed crown - it's a Manitou and the guard is for a regular crown. Couldn't find one pre-drilled for a reversed crown and was thinking of drilling it myself, but it's mostly for the stanchions and it works for them.

Agreed. Looks like a mountain bike with BMX roots. I'll bet it handles nice.

That's a nice bike. Your back and knees would love the full suspension. I know mine hate my hardtail, it is a constant workout just to stay on it on rougher sections :D

I would soon need to replace my drivetrain as I have worn it out pretty badly, even though I swapped 2 chains on it. I still gather opinions and can't decide between 2x11, 2x12 and 1x12 for general offroading and putting big miles on it. I use 2x11 and like it a lot, the 12 speed ones seem to be even better, more durable and with even bigger range.

I really like the 1x12 on my current bike.
