    Ordered our water containers and got some woods to start learning friction fire. Looks like this is happening for team Missouri.

    Working on a special sheath for myself as well but its still in the works. Ill debute it here soon.

    I feel like ive got friction fire under my thumb. The issue i see thus far is finding suitable materials and cordage. Also, just like Goruck, no one cares what you can do fresh and ill see what i can do after an intense workout.

    Oh boy cordage is next to learn. Yucca ive used before and had success but that drill hammers cordage. We will see.

    Got fire after a mini welcome party. It sucked and my muscles whined but it happened. So theres that.

    Hey Strig, i wanna go, but my wife has a knee replacement surgery scheduled the week or so before the class. Probably won't be too cool to ditch her so soon afterwards. I took the Field Survival this September, so i'm ready for more...

    I want to do the class also. Asked the misses if she wanted to go but she looked at me like I cussed her. But she agreed to the bushcraft class.

    If cordage is gonna be an issue I would practice the hand drill a lot.
