@Se7eN , can you drill two 1/4" holes for mounting the handle? space em 2" apart. (loaned out my Milwaukee drill to a pro for a few weeks. )

    Yep, I'll make it happen.

I am heading into shutdowns until June, i will get final blade profiling done and hopefully heat treat and handle.

I will ship to you once it is complete.

@Se7eN is working on the prototype when he can. Keep in mind we are doing this with ZERO funding and really little free time . Se7en is working insane overtime during refinery shutdowns (maintenance). This isn't going to be cranked out anytime soon. I have zero place to make stuff (apt / strata living).

first "rough" (and i say that loosely) prototype was hacked out of scrap plate steel with a hack saw. (my prototype)

On the shelf for a bit. Seven is working like 100 hours a week in the oil/gas industry field, away from home most of the time.

This has my interest. I picked up a cold steel shovel maybe 6 years ago, and never used it thinking it was stupid. Finally got around to trying it out a few weeks ago, and loved the thing. Surprisingly handy, and EXCELLENT for peeling bark off of tree stumps. Now I finally thinking there is some practicality to these shovels.

I haven't tried throwing it yet, but I can say it's one of the better purchases I've made from Cold Steel.
