Here's some beautiful cherry crown on a job I was fixing after the original installer completely botched the job. Had to scribe almost 1/2" to the roof! Lucky it was 5" crown
Can you make me one with a single star?
Perhaps. Is this a replica of another flag? Not familiar.
Would have to sort out the inlay.
Finally got around to finishing up these salvaged teakwood chairs today.
Beautiful! Should last a lifetime.
Still waiting for them to soak up all the teak oil, may give em another coat.
WHOA!!! Total transformation!!! Nice work sir!
Thanks, gave em a second coat today.
Best way I know to color wood black... black as coal. Use this brand, it has a little shellac in it.
Speedball Super Black India Ink
Add some white spacers to make it classier?
Built a happy place for myself
Looks like a good start for a"Mancave"
You can get a super dark black using steel wool dissolved in vinegar.
It works best on woods with higher tannin content. This can be worked around by brewing up some really strong tea and rubbing that on the wood first.
Had to look it up because I couldn’t remember the name.
It’s called Ebonizing.
I don't think the steel wool and vinigar would have worked as well on this walnut. Here is the video I followed.
If you have a scrap piece you should test it out.
After watching that video, why would I waste my time?
