Really? Biggest share of it's price is the eco drive battery tech, movement is cheap.
There's only couple of quartz movement that are very accurate like <5 sec gain a year or something.

Edit: Found some good article on the subject http://wornandwound.com/guide-to-high-accuracy-quartz-haq-watches/

I said I was "looking" for a little better accuracy than +14 sec/month. I probably should have said "hoping". I have previously read the above article and was aware that many of the sub-$100 watches can get 15 sec/month. I am not seeking nor willing to pay for HAQ. Just hoping to get lucky like with my Seiko that does 9 sec/month for about $180. That is an insane level of accuracy for less than an expensive dinner.

That is why I was making fun of how mundane my commentary was. The tedium of writing about 0.99999 accuracy is just plain silly. And I did it anyway. :D

. Love it @JAD I got that this morning LOL!!!! If it's within 5 minutes a week, I'm good as long as it looks cool LOL. My Rolex loses 2 minutes per week, never paid it much thought, just the idiosyncrasy of an automatic that has kept on rocking for 22 years now, without a battery. My Citizen Eco-Drive Blue Angels is actually the most accurate watch I've ever owned for 9 years now, and there's been a helluva a lot of watches run through this house. 2 or 5 minutes ain't gonna make me late anywhere.

Gary you have nothing but terrible watches, and I'd be happy to liberate you from their oppression.

@Dave41079 My Son is waiting patiently on my demise for the one above LOL, wearing 22 year old junk today, most of them now 15 years old at least so I'm sure you couldn't really want any of this old stuff, LOL.

That's a beauty to be sure, but at the price of a cheap new car...I'd have to pass as well. Ulysse Nardin also makes a nice pulsometer with a single pusher chrono movement.
