@Southern Gent I agree with your perspective on it. I think I view it the same way. Much like you've take care of a car, you should maintain a watch. They recommend every 4-5 years. Without checking again, I think mine was from 2006, so it's probably due for a 10 yr check-up haha.

 

My 2nd half is not really scared of those suckers, but this one scared the living sh** out of her. Look at the size of that bad boy, Orient is 46mm or the size of Seiko monster. one hell of a spider!

New/old watch today, rescued this one from a pawn shop yesterday.
1970's Seiko 7006-8007 with silver face and old style "grains of rice" bracelet.

 

@GaryMc do you buy the 22mm or 24mm for the Luminox? I've reach that both with work, as the Luminox width is 23mm. Just wondering if you've tried different sizes, and which you prefer.

@artigas Depends on which watch I'm buying it for, most of mine are 22mm, the Navy Seals today for example so that's what I typically buy. I have Luminox ranging 22, 23, and 24mm though but usually keep the metal bands on the 23 & 24's.
