So I'm in quite the conundrum, of the good variety. My step mom is retiring from corrections and her duty pistol is a full size M&P in .40S&W. She absolutely hates it, but she bought one to train with a long time ago. She's going to give it to me since I'll actually do something with it. I have nothing else in .40, I transferred over to 9MM a long time ago and just never looked back. I have a M&P 9L Pro Series that's my "go to war" gun for the TNP crowd. I'm trying to decide what "job" this gun will hold. I figured I had a few options, including pimping it out. But I figured the best bet would be to place it in a go bag of some sort. Keep it under the truck seat, or in the closet with spare mags, ammo and other essential gear just in case. I've never had the luxury of having a spare handgun that I could just leave and forget about. I figured this may fit that bill perfectly. Do you guys have any spare handguns(something other than your primary carry or range toy), and if so - what job do they hold?
