I'm on the Canadian CSIS, USA CIA / FBI watchlist as of 2000 hours tonight.

cuz I bought a Afghan pressure cooker. :D

10 mm thick walls, three pressure relief valves, all metal handles, suitable for campfire, stoveto, grill, propane burner use etc.

excuse me for a minute, there's a knock on my door.....:D

That’s super cool! Will definitely shorten the cook time on dried beans!

Those things are really cool! But they do kinda look like a 1300’s military pyrotechnic though. ;) Can’t wait to hear what the RCMP’s say when they see that in your vehicle. (Oh to be a fly..it’s gonna be epic! :D )

Splurged a bit on this purchase. Leatherman Charge plus G10, I am a sucker for textured G10. Been looking for a new multitool for a while, on top of looking good it had the required saw, full file and micro screwdriver I wanted. I have lost the last two nice ones I have owned, maybe the bright orange on this will help me keep it.

Had to run out and make a few fires with it to break it in ha ha ha...

Just got this Bowman Mini Clovis for those close to civilization day hikes. Pretty slim, so will probably end up in the pocket a lot as well. A38BD065-FF7C-474A-A7E5-AC3574186327.jpeg

Haha! Indeed it is. That’s actually the top of a mature saguaro. Beauty that they turn into as they get older.

Wednesday was my last birthday before I turn half a century old. I treated myself to a Buck 110 and a 12” knipex plier wrench

I've been looking for a multi-tool with scissors for quite some time. I had been checking evilBay for a busted MP400 to rob the scissors from for my MP600.

But then I saw this posted. Leatherman Charge+ G10 with S30V (my favorite steel) blade. So far I'm pretty happy with it. Wish the pouch had velcro instead of a snap but otherwise it's been great.

It is on sale at Sportsmans Warehouse for about $120 right now.

Just threw a pair of Terrain Tamer progressive coils in under the front of my Landcruiser! The parabolic leaf springs in the back made me realise the front coils were a little sad and not rated for the extra weight I have out the front.

Had a blowout in one of my BJJ gi pants So I bought some from Origin. Made in Maine and Berry compliant
Very impressed so far. They actually fit huskier frames like mine.

Pretty impressive tool. Never been much of a big knife, or machete user (other than clearing survey lines 20yr ago). Have always been impressed by how efficient and capable these seem to be in skilled hands. No jungle near me but thought I would finally just buy one and satisfy my curiosity. Very impressed with the way this thing handles, chops better than I though it would on smaller stuff, really impressed with the balance and small task capability. Not sure I would trade my tomahawk for one quite yet but very fun to learn something new.

    IMG_20230206_103716764_HDR.jpg

Went for a traditional rat tang, plenty of other full tang options, but I wanted to get the
authentic experience. I know for hawks balance is pretty key for best performance.

Really impressed with the handling for finer work.

Duracell (P&G) used to pay for ruined items if their failed batteries were the cause. Might be worth a call, but you’ll need the battery I think if you haven’t tossed it.
