Made up a secondary first aid /fire kit for my pack. The main ones are in the truck pack. In the top tin is some meds and the bottom some fatwood. IMG_20210530_163922580.jpg

You don't need expensive bags to get the job done. This is a 20 year old camera bag repurposed and in a weird color.
    Small enough yet large enough.
Here it is and it packs a punch yet disguised as a lowly Samsonite 8 inches by 4 inches by 2 inches.
    Pocket holster inside holds a M&P 340 in place. 30 rounds. 20230317_095010.jpg 20230317_095025.jpg 20230317_095112.jpg 20230317_095132.jpg

Turned the smaller still good section of my old daily work/ghb pack into an organizer for smaller gear items. Figured I’d turn this double post into a contents pic. IMG_5922.jpeg IMG_5921.jpeg IMG_5917.jpeg IMG_5918.jpeg IMG_5925.jpeg IMG_5926.jpeg IMG_5927.jpeg

Sarma, just breaking it in. I'm also looking for a internal frame packboard. Any good options?

I've been building out on a similar concept for a while.

    20250711_153900.jpg
This is a Nargear Wild land Firefighters Pack (Model "Victim") Made in Montana.
    1800ci, 1000 D , H frame suspension, thick HD padding.

I don't carry a ton of gear so this rides like a stabilized Cadillac. Not a bit of wiggle (I did jumping jacks with it on. ;) )

    20250711_162815.jpg
its got a wide padded belt but only a small section of molle web on it. I partially chose it for its distinctly " non-militarized" look.

Since I got this a couple of weeks ago I bet I have stripped it to oem empty 26 dozen times and then put everything back in/on slightly different to get it exactly like I wanted.

    20250718_154848.jpg
I had to throw it in the hall and blackout the house to get the camera flash to light up the reflective piping.
This is a sheeple friendly effect. Looks more like something the Forest Service or the SAR guys would have.
Now maybe I can walk the dirt roads in the National Forest without have the Leo's set upon me or being squashed by the drunks in the dark after sundown eh?

The Nargear Victim is one of my favorite pack concepts.

Wildland fire packs just make good sense.

Plus they are tough as nails
