Black Mustard, it’s a flowering weed that’s invading my area and sucking up all the water and nutrients from the soil

This is Spikey Cucumber, not edible for humans. It’s not edible for human but I do believe animals can eat it.

    freaking deadly stuff...........highly poisonous........

and the flowers have hidden secrets too! .....there is a spider that lives in foxglove....and it COLOR MATCHES itself to the flower......

I damn near screamed like a girl when i was taking a photo of foxglove many years ago.......and suddenly there was a big spider color changing itself as it rushed at me along the flower and camera.

    nope nope nope......

FYI, if you gather about a bushel of foxglove flowers and pull the flowers, put them into a #10 tin can and pound /crush /emulsify them into a paste, then introduce that paste into a damned off creek.....it kills all the fish ......easy fishing and the toxin is killed with heat (cooking)

I learned that from my Mom (Biologist/Scientist) as well as from local First Nations
