    I always wonder what is the brown stuff on your blades, is this wood dust or soil.

    That looks like a great idea!
    I have seen the small sharpening stones before. I think a strop and a stone on the back would be a great combo!

    It'll definitely save me from bringing one and I'm looking for a stone now that I can affix to the front. Unless I go with a kydex ferro rod holder and one of those round ceramic sharpeners?

    You could probably get a small DMT brand stone. I think they have a pocket size. Otherwise their sharpening “sticks? “ the stone on a small handle could be cut short and glues on.
