I'll put up another pic or two later, but here's the latest LIT Knife (Lightweight Incendiary, Tinder), so named because there is a large ferro rod in the buttcap and just enough room for some tinder in the hollow handle.
This is a cool design. Looks really comfortable for carving.
Super beautiful Sam.
Look forward to more pics, also from the inside of the cap.
Is the wood inserts in the sheath (looks a bit like that imho)? Or only leather?
Damn sam. Another beauty!!!!
Needs some “sawback”
Agreed but I didn’t want to say anything.
…….. maybe I should have shown more Christmas spirit…..but honesty is good too right ? As long as it has a sewing kit for my manly man bicep !!!!
Thank you! It feels very much like a "regular" knife.
Thank you! Yes, it has a wood insert in the sheath for form.
I didn't add any sawback on this model only because I knew the absence of sawteeth would drop me further down on some gov watchlists due to how their algorithms work. Big brain stuff.
What about the sewing kits ? I don't want to bleed out waiting on DJ to come save me !
I ship them free to every country but Austria. Looks like you're out of luck, mein freund.
Will have finished pics soon, but here's a taste of the latest prototype, the B.U.S.H. Knife. Gonna be fun.
As promised, here are the rest of the pics of the latest LIT Knife, Lightweight Incendiary, Tinder.
The micarta sleeve has an ovoid shape, and feels very much like a traditional knife in the hand. The ferro rod provides the Incendiary part, and there is just enough room in the handle to put some tinder.
I do a hollow grind on a larger wheel on these for greater cutting aggression, and the brass ferrule gives a more traditional look and feel.
Thanks for looking!
Thats a nice one!
It is !
Thank you! Getting this kydex down, you can send me your Kephart at some point soon, if you want.
You mean id have to take it off my side?! I dont know man...
