Been seeing a few pics of this knife. Anyone got one yet? Looks interesting. If someone has one can you provide some comparison pics and of it in hand. Trying to get a comparison of how wide the blade is and the handle.
the CR2.5 will remain a staple in my kit....BUT....where the AGK really shines is unstitching game. The shape of the point allows you to work from the inside out, rocking the tip back and forth and it makes short work of caping game. While the AGK is a singular focus design I think it will prove out in many other situations as well.....the leverage and comfort of the grip will cause some to rethink their options.... The CR2.5, for me, handles 95% of my cutting tasks, hides in plain site, and stows well in my kitbag or on my belt so it will continue to have a high profile position in my kit on every adventure. I need more dirt time with the AGK but I do have high hopes for it.
I couldn't stand it had to order one. Just the geometry alone is win in my book and the handle looks perfect. I'll mostly carry this as a neck knife because of the length of the blade. Can't wait to post up some pics.
This video is NOT up for public consumption just yet....but I thought I'd share it here anyway.. do me a FAVOR AND DO NOT post publicly!!
tough to say....If I had a vote I'd say yes....but I KNOW for a fact that hasn't really been discussed at this point.
I like how pronounced the recess that makes the finger guard. I wish the PR4 was a little more recessed/prominent like this one
