It is as elusive as the albino bat and rarer than the Izula folder.

The ultimate 6HM: orange G-10 scales with the new patina coating the cleaver has and production kydex sheath. Please just take my money.

That'd be amazing. I'd like to see more ESEEs in the stonewash patina.

If we are throwing in ultimate on the table, the steel variety needs to be compared to be fair.
Also, a black G-10 for all the HM versions would be nice. The knife connection might hopefully begin to produce different G-10 versions for the HM knifes anyway, and that issue is solved. A special run of CPM 3V or CPM 35VN HM versions would be amazing. 1095 works well for these as is. However, 3V and 35VN would open up new worlds of possibility for such a great design. Improved toughness means far more unbreakable or chip resistant. Wear resistance would go up and hold that edge much longer. Corrosion resistance is always a plus.

I was going for what is in their wheel house to ship out currently but I agree a 3V version would be amazing.

I am anxious but to be honest I don't think it will replace the original 6. I love the 6 the way it is. We shall see.

No id imagine it wont be a replacement but rather another tool to get the job done. The six is a great knife when combined with something smaller in my opinion. Its replaced my Junglas in my woods bag. The junglas is on homestead duty now in making enough kindling to keep my sweetheart warm.

I've been so happy with my ESEE 6 & SAK Trekker combo. Never needed to ask for anything more out of them. Probably why that has been my go to combo for about a decade now.
