We were burning limb piles from the hurricane today and I grabbed ahold of a plant that tore me up. I was making a kindling bundle to get the fire started and dropped a twig. I went to pick it up and it felt like I grabbed a bumblebee between my fingers. I will try to get a picture of it in a few days. I tried to Google it but I haven't found anything that looks like it yet. My girlfriend called it fire grass, whatever it is I have never encountered it before.

 

Stinging nettle was my first thought but the pictures I found didn't match.

Not yet. I will get a pic when I get a chance. I think it is too small to be stinging nettle but it may be a different type of nettle like burning nettle which it says is a dwarf plant.

this is Dwarf Nettle , max height about 2' (stinging nettle can reach heights of 20' in the right conditions.)

 

I understand the problems caused when people miss their doctors appointment.

I also understand why doctors charge a no show fee when you miss a appointment.

I do know that I have only missed 1 out of easily 100 doctor appointments ( Lots of physical therapy after surgery)

What I DONT understand is how a doctor constantly runs 20 minutes to 1 hour behind schedule

BUT then charges 3x their posted late fee because I missed a “prime time slot” appointment.

Plus a homeless guy repeatedly yelled he was going to k1l1ll me and my kiddo in the grocery store parking lot....
it’s been a fun morning...

 

Pretty sure I lost my Benchmade proper. This sucks.

 

Both times my wife was pregnant she was considered “high risk” and we went to the doctor more often than normal. At least once a month, and twice a month working towards weekly by the end of the pregnancies.

The specialist must have run a tight ship, because we were always called back right at or even a little before the appointment time. Only doctor office I’ve been to like that.

 

@OKcherokee I know how that type of pregnancy goes... I wish that’s how my normal doctor were. I honestly no longer plan to be seen for at least 30 minutes...

This is just one of many overbuilt containers that Canada’s legal stuff comes in. Like a pill bottle but slightly flexible thick walled polyethylene.

someone asked how i got rid of the pungent odor that is in the container....much like the drug runners....i use fresh oily coffee beans, ground fine. The oil permeates the plastic and completely removes any odor of Canadas legal stuff

 

That's really awesome Bushie. Im a sucker for a good container. I have a tote full of them. Lol -altoids tins, pill bottles, plastic cases that ear plugs come in,etc...) those look bomb-proof

Some driver got pissed at me today, because I didn’t let him into the traffic queue.

Followed me around for half an hour wanting to fight. I radioed ahead to a buddies job site and had the get ready for me.

Pulled into the site , driver follows me. Thinks we’re in a deserted jobsite.

Goes to leap out of his car and come at me . Realizes I’m double his build and holding a steel pipe. Then realizes there is 20 steelworkers also holding pipes or rebar in their hands. Yells at me, gets back in his car and speeds off. Traffic flagger waves her slow sign , he ignores her (OOPS.....bad mistake) she calls it in .

Dispatch calls , guy complaining about me driving , etc. She shut him down lol
