    You know I like the look of the g10 handles but couldn’t get over how it felt in my hand. More of a micarda guy I guess. Buy anything new lately?

    I may have asked this before... A while back i saw a really cool 2 handed knife sharpener. It sat on a table top "vice" with the blade clamped in the center. There was then 2 stones? maybe on rods that could be set to the proper blade angle and you simply pushed and pulled each stone back and forward alternating sides for a even edge..

    Does anyone know what it might be? I doubt it is custom made and from who had it i don't expect it to be to much more than a few hundred dollar.... I just know the blades that i had sharpened with it are AMAZINGLY sharp!

    Thanks!

    @Andy the Aussie
    So imagine the same basic concept but with the blade flipped vertical. It has a 2nd set of stone/ rod that goes on the opposite side of the blade.

    You never have to remove the blade to do the other side.

    The one you posted is a lot nicer then what i have and would be a good option if i cant find this other one. Do you know if you could completely flip the blade without removing it?

    Found this today while doing some cleaning.
    For those that don't recognize it, once upon a time Mike and Jeff tasked a man with going around planting pipe bombs in the woods. This is the one I found, left by the man, the myth, the legend himself.... Hobo Jack.

    I haven’t been able to load pics to a forum from Imgur for the past few months. The only workable option I’ve found is to save the pic from Imgur to your device, the use the “upload a file” option.
