Cast Iron Revisited

    If you can safely get it down a drain that’s perfectly fine too. I would go down the kitchen sink with it just to help remove any fat/grease that’s built up over time.

    Yall use one of the chain mail scrubbers on your cast iron?

    Yessir. If an abrasive is needed I use coarse salt along with chain mail.

    Coarse steel wool works as well, I'm talking the kind that looks like the metal shavings from a metal lath

    I like the brush lodge sells. Works well in my opinion.

    What I use most is just really hot water and the plastic scrapers that Lodge makes

    Got a cheap chain mail scrubber. Dont do that. I've got little rings unhooking and falling off.

    My in laws gave me a good one for Christmas. It has replaced my lodge brush and scraper.
