No deer this evening. I did lay this girl down at 268 yards. I will put a coyote down at any opportunity.
This is not mine, but the youth's that I hunted with on opening day of our rifle season. Shot was a little back and we had to do a bit of a tracking job on him, but all ended well.
This is where we tracked him too.
And here he is after his swim.
Congrats! Kill'em all! I lay everyone I see while I'm hunting.
A little follow up from my bow harvest. This is the broadhead recovered from the off-side shoulder found while quartering. I think I'm going to try to hang this off the European mount skull when it's finished. That's a 100 grain muzzy broadhead.
Man you guys are doin real good! Some freezer filling is goin down! Not much seems to be happiness here, not many shots heard either, not seeing deer, even at night driving country roads. Anybody else East Texas/NW corner of Lousiana having this problem?
Nice harvest and some mighty fine eatin!!!
Nothing massive but, meat is meat
Nice harvest! Congrats!!!
Got this Guy on the Fly Rod last Night. Marked a couple blips at 20 Feet. Switched from the topwater rod with floating line to the sinking line rod, and this guy hammered the fly first cast.
Got this little fellar with my Scout Rifle @ ~175 yds. Leupold 2.5FX is all you need. This rifle never ceases to amaze me!
Nice pics y'all. I didn't get a kill pic of the doe I took with my bow a few weeks ago but here are the end results....vension marinated in a plethra of seasoning and spices (including smokey's seasoning which is awesome),
Slathered with cream cheese, banana and jalapeno pepper's wrapped in bacon and grilled.
Awesome. Put this one in the Scout Rifle thread!
I did a canoe float and shot this little buck.
Happiness is a freezer full of wild game.
Knocked a few of these down last weekend.
