Great news, everyone! We have a bunch of our 16 inch Flew Wire Saws in stock. These American-made saws use the original Varco tooling, which our manufacturing partner was able to acquire when Varco shut down. As far as I'm aware, this is the only wire saw with actual teeth. The best way to use these is to set them up as a bow saw. One of the things I love about this saw is that you can change direction sharply mid-cut, like you would with a scroll saw. That means you can cut a v-shaped notch, turn a corner, go around a knot, etc. This saw is included in some military survival kits and has NSN 6515-00-296-2529. Our production partner recently sewed these saws (and some other goodies) into a batch of flight suits for some aviation crew members. Our price per saw is $16.99.
