Watched "Polar" on netflix earlier, pretty rowdy and two actors I really like. Not a family friendly movie however.
A MONSTER CALLS this one hits close to home.....it really parallels a lot of the stuff i went thru when Dad was ill and then passed. I can relate to the main character.
Could one of you fine gentlemen explain to me why it is whenever I start watching a new season of Z Nation I start justifying buying a Junglas?
the first time i held a Junglas blade.....was thanks to JCA21 (WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU BRO?) we had gone for a hike locally, gone off trail, we were following an OLD corduroy logging road in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve. We stopped for a brew up, JCA21 pulled out the Esee Junglas and said, play with that for a bit. Esee Junglas #0115 became mine that day. I was late on Strata fees that month but the epic adventures that followed with that Junglas chopper were truly AWESOME I plan to retire it soon, in a shadow box filled with memories and artifacts of my adventures. and buy a new one and have more adventures
watching PETES DRAGON again, for like the 500th time. Couple friends of mine did the dragon fur and action CGI rendering. Literally 1000's of hours of computer time for every minute.
The Snow Walker Based on the short story “Walk Well My Brother” by Farley Mowat, The Snow Walker tells the story of a maverick bush pilot named Charlie Halliday. While deviating from his flight plan, Charlie crashes in a remote area of Canada’s Arctic. His only chance for survival is his ill passenger, a beautiful young Inuit woman named Kanaalaq. Through her guidance, Halliday learns to dispel his preconceptions and prejudices in order to adapt to the environment, live off the land, and somehow traverse the vast barren tundra to make it back to his world alive. I'm absolutely in love with Annabella Piugattuk the movie at 35 minute mark....is true to form for that region........trillions of mosquitoes and black-flies and deer flies....some trappers went mad up in that region and cut their own throats to end the suffering.....
Classic 80's MacGyver. Not necessarily a movie, but it fills the gaps between the one movie I will watch every 2-4 years. Going through and rewatching all the more boring episodes to give my favorites a break.
shoot me your paypal info......I would be glad to share this Canadian movie. (i get paid friday night, you can be watching on Sat/Sun)
