Not packing it yet, but it won't be long. I wanted something more than a handgun, but not a full size rifle or shotgun in the car or around the crib.
I ordered some Aguilla buck, 9 plus one.
Perfect size for travel, to supplement a pistola.

Here are some pics compared to a Mav with 18 inch barrel.

Hickok 45 did a comprehensive review on YouTube.

Correction. The Maverick shown has a 20 inch Factory vented rib with Accu-Choke.
Mossberg makes an 18 but not vented.

The beat up P220, quickly becoming my favorite all around gun. The P239 will always be my favorite ccw gun but for me as a fun range toy, great woods open carry/winter time concealed carry and bump in the night gun the p220 is nearly perfect.

Extenze! I've called it a G27L since I made the mod.

It's a G22 police trade-in/refurb I picked up at Cabela's for $350-400 that I did a grip chop job on with my SAK saw and files until it was G27/26 grip specs. I originally mad the cut just under G23 grip length and went slow with the files while comparing it frequently to my wife's G27 until it was done. It's just as "non-printing" as her G27 under a tucked in shirt, but a noticeable bit flatter shooting/more accurate. I carry it with a G27 mag loaded and a spare G22 mag w/ a grip extender attached either in my weakside front pocket or weakside iwb.

    Thanks, I love it!

I do want to pick up either another complete G22 or just a second Gen 3 grip frame mainly for range time when I want a full grip. Since I've got a G20 I quit feeling the need for a full size gripped pistol for open woods carry.

That turned out very nice. I had a chance to buy a Springfield at an awesome price a few years ago. I wanted to turn it into a CCW project and chop the grip. I chickened out. Next time I catch a deal maybe I'll grow a set!

It wasn't hard at all, just take your time and check measurements with a subcompact mag and a full size mate with grip extender if you plan to use one.

Thank you..I've carried the Gen4 g19 since it came out....but I have found that as I've aged and have bifocal that the site picture starts to get problematic....thus the g19 MOS and RMR site.....it is taking some time but I am getting used to it!

See?! I knew you'd fit in well here (better than me, but that's not saying much).

And even though I call you friend and invited you here ... what, five years ago? ... after we roamed the halls of all those gun forums, stirring things up since around 2005 or so (are they still around?), nobody's kicked you off. :)

[I've withheld this information until now, so I hope there are no negative repercussions for you. ]

Ok, dinner is next, then later -- or tomorrow if I get hooked by Netflix at dinner -- I'll be back with pics of the weapon I packed today. No, literally, packed.

Actually, two: 9 mm and ... oh, I'll save the story for later.
