i have access to heavy wall 4:1 shrink ratio tubing with heat activated adhesive inside....you interested?
Possibly, yeah. What size? I've been using 1/2". I'm getting low on ferro rods, so I likely won't be making many more for a while, so no rush. I have more than enough shrink tube for what's left.
Hammer and tong rack. They were sitting in 5gal buckets before, and I was getting tired of shuffling them around to work on knives.
a hatchet from a 7 1/4" sawblade -- not functional for processing wood, but a lot of learning happened, so the next one will be better - and this will look great as a wallhanger at a buddy's brewery.
de-greased and re-greased with synthetic grease the BILTIN bearings on my Classic Street Luge.......for the upcoming clandestine rip down a local ski hill paved access road........
it's storage (~39L), a stool to sit on (18" seat height), step stool, tool box, camping gear, something to tuck shoes under, etc... the taper adds a little stability - the next one I make will have a steeper taper, so it will look more on purpose.
Very cool. I love multi purpose designs. I try to do stuff like this in my house. It's great when you can efficiently use all your available space.
Small quick Otzi knife. Someone gave me a obsidian blade blank so I pressure flaked the edge into the shape I wanted. Saguaro rib handles pitch glue mounted, with artificial sinew binding it together.
The wife wanted a new Paracord keychain. Started with a piece of brass and turned it down into a bead. The grooves for each year of marriage, then some forced patina. It will get a few coats of clear today.
