As a kid, I was constantly in the woods whittling and building fires. I had no clue what bushcraft was. When I was around 7 I got a book called woodcraft that had some detailed instruction on how to build things in the woods. After that I was hooked! I'm trying to build that same enthusiasm in my daughter. I try to find meals, and wood crafts that build skill and perks interest. Below are a few things we do together. What fun woodcraft ideas could you share with me to improve both our skill levels?

Tension trays, makes a great plate for fish or other foods. No cordage needed. IMG_1291.JPG

Baskets for egg gathering or blackberry picking

How could you watch the movie without making one? Careful, this thing can knock your goodgooglies loose! Bullroarer
