Not sure if I like the g10 scales. They feel slick to me. I like the contour. No where I can get 3D Micarta. Sux I spent all that money on g10 and realize they feel so slippery. Is there anything I can do to the g10 to give it more grip

Anyone recommend a good kydex sheath for the 6? Or to add a dangler maybe. I want to like my 6 and carry wile hiking and doing stuff but I can’t stand the way the stock sheath fits me on the 6. For some reason my stock 5 sheath fits amazing don’t know if it’s the weight that make it sit nice I mean the 6 isn’t that much longer.

I’ve heard really great things about the knife connection’s kydex sheaths for the 6.

Got the TKC kydex and the slide lock is a huge bonus. Good retention. Nice people to work with

Got my 6 the other day and I've already outfitted it with a MOLLE backer and accessory pouch courtesy of @BobbyRatTail

Looking forward to my next day in the woods to really get to play with it some. Might try to goad the family into some camping for Father's Day.

Now I've got to scrape some fire making stuff together for the pouch tin.

Working on the kit for the pouch today. I cut down a 1/2" ferro rod to fit in the tin, threw in some storm proof matches, a bit of orange 550 cord, pieces of a makeup pad coated in wax, a magnesium rod from my Izzy kit and one of the signaling cards that came with the knives. Plus I put the whistle and cord from the Izzy kit on the 6 as a lanyard as well.

Just in behind the 4. This really seems the only outdoor fixed blade you would ever need. Can’t wait to use her.
