I had been carrying my grandfathers Northwoods and gotten used to having it in my pocket until I almost lost it the other day. Now it stays home, but I can’t get used to having a pocket clip again. I’m back to getting caught on things and scratching paint.

What slip joints do you all carry?

A thread that caught my attention! Slipjoints!!!
My grandfather was a no nonsense guy with a flair for the ordinary. From him I inherited a love for a pocket knife...a slipjoint.
    The older, the better.
I usually carry one of these, or two.

    Or others.

GEC makes quality stuff, as does Smith Brothers.
For an affordable, replaceable, sharpenable blade I like a Case sodbuster in carbon steel.

I've never been a huge slipjoint guy, but there are two that have REALLY caught my attention lately.

That Lionsteel Barlow sheepsfoot is one model in particular that I've looked at quite a bit. A cool mix of modern and traditional, and with M390 steel!

If I could only keep one folder, theres a very good possibility it would be my case trapper. Its the yellow delrin version in carbon steel, so nothing fancy l, but there has never been a situation where I've used it and wished for anything more.
