    Thanks you sir for the kind words. Folders ar so time intensive, I have only a couple that have ever left our family. Traditional slip joints are very nostalgic for me; I guess that keeps me drawn to them.
    Have you checked out the Great Eastern Cutlery line of knives? They have some incredible knives in stag handles for reasonable money. Those are some of my favorites.

    Just finished up this wakizashi. I have forging pic somewhere on this site, perhaps in the blacksmithing page.
    1084 steel, with a forge welded tsuba/guard, copper, mokume gane, silk ito, and lacquer finish

    Immediately! As soon as I put a handle on the blade it went and started chopping limbs and shrubs.
