The pin on the crane just doesn't want to stay in. It already was at Ruger and they replaced the pin. I got it back. Shot 10 rounds and again. What you see above.
A little upset that the redhawk is only a 2.75 barrel. How about their 4.20 barrel. That would be sweet.
It'd be nice if I'm hunting in an area that has black bears. I'm sure a .357 would do fine but a .44 would go well with my .45-70.
Wow i have never seen that happen on a ruger and they not fix it. I think the hole on the crane was driled a little large and you could send it back or find a little larger pin. I always sale my pice if i have trouble with it because if it lets you down then you can never trust it or that is how i feel. I have a Talo sp 101 and it has been great.
That 45-70 does make a nice size hole LOL!!!! I think that the .44 Mag would make a great pair together!!
Already got the info needed to return it to Ruger....again. I'm thinking the same thing about the hole. It just got bad fast. Had a few thousand rounds of 357 thru it with no problems but now it can't go more than 10. Those Talo guns are sweet.
Yes Sir i would send it back too Ruger and they should put a new crane on it but you never know. If it did it again after you get it back then i would trade that in.
