Patrick and I are doing some work in the Colorado/Utah area....Meeting up with Jefe next week for a backpacking/canyoneering trip and doing some scouting for another potential class.. I thought I would share some pics of the journey: a selfie on Douglas Pass.... Patrick was the wheel man today.... Several times today the GPS went into "I got nuthin for ya man" Mode.....that how in the middle of nowhere we were.......it was awesome... Loma School...EST 1910. Loma CO Western slope of Douglas Pass Ran into this Doe coming down the pass.. This one is all about the Light....
How can you tell I can’t see his eye only the camera. Just kidding, I am always amazed at the photography on this forum.
A few from our time with the Hill Brothers today. Some are just straight off the camera and need some editing. Awesome country. this beauty was waiting on us in the parking lot....yes..that's glitter.
Patrick and I were discussing you earlier today about how much you and Mrs Strig would like it out here.
My review is....It's awesome....I don't have one in hand.....yet....but I got to fiddle with one quite a bit today...Horizontal pockets have stretchy pockets on the inside....top pocket goes all the way down... Vertical zip pocket has Horizontal pockets that will accommodate mags up to SR25 size....so when you lay it down to shoot off it as a rest the mags are oriented to just grip and rip....very cool.
a Few more from todays hike....headed out again in the AM and will see what the camera gives me tomorrow!!
A few pics from our hike with Evan and Kevin from HPG....we saw 2 cow elk and 1 nice sized bull....they blew out pretty quick as they were dead down wind....so no pics.... Countless mule deer and some fresh bear tracks...plus an awesome hike and great sunrise.. Find the Raven See him now? These little guys and their mothers were around every turn almost... You know it's getting good when you are getting into the Quakies Kevin MeDowell handles most of HPGs marketing and shipping...
All great pictures! Thanks for taking the time to share. My Ross Reel is a plane Jane compared to those beauties.
