Still my favorite form of travel..
So...are these patches available, for purchase, for previous class attendees?
The classes are all new now. Patches are going to those who now go through all the JPRs (skill sheets) and pass them. So, things have amped up a bit in some of our classes.
New is good. Maybe I should do a rerun on some of them.
Amped up is even better!
A lot of the classes we have set JPRs (Job Performance Requirements) due to some departments requiring a certain standard be met. No one has required it on Land Nav but we figured we would go ahead and set a standard since we are training a lot of SAR folks now and our own SAR team also has to live with an applied standard, so everyone has to perform the JPRs per our standard then the respective organizations can test them for certification if needed. Shane is writing our new swift water rescue program now. Gonna be a bit more amped up than what's considered standard now with fire departments and other organizations.
Swift water!!! woohoo, I m ready! So is Patrick.
I would be down for swift water, you in @Strigidae?
@Strigidae, you will trust me on rope for the SRT class, so trust me when I throw you in the water! Its fun! I promise.
After you do Swiftwater training, all other classes are just boring.
I missed the land nav course that was just about to happen. Do you have an idea of when the next class will be ? Thanks.
We have one coming up on the 29th and 30th of this month but it is slam full. Just keep an eye on the website since we will be getting some new dates up. Just know that land nav classes fill quickly.
Me and a buddy are coming to the bushcraft class in October, paid if full.It would be awesome if you added a couple days in front or behind it for navigation!
Any chance of adding this to the end of the bushcrafting training in October, were us that are driving a long ways can kill two birds with one stone?
Coopsdaddy their schedule is usually tighter than a snare drum but if they can im sure they will post it up.
NO! Just kidding. I can hang out an additional day and cover land nav.
Another reason Rollins is worth his weight in gold.
