My favorite knife is this ESEE 4. It was my first ESEE and one that has been on many adventures and met some of the worlds finest people. Ive damaged the edge numerous times and it sharpens back. Its the one i reach for when i know i may get into some work. Its the one that is a part of my hand when we work. Unstoppable!

Mine is my Esee 3 it was my first one, I got it for my very first Father’s Day. I have put the first one through hell and back and would rely on it for any thing. While I do carry and use other knives the 3 is always on my side or in my pack ready to go if I need it.

My all time favorite - Lion Steel M5

The most comfortable handle I have held, the Slepnir steel is something incredible - holds a fantastic edge and is easy to sharpen. Fairly corrosion resistant for a tool steel. The grind is hollow, but it it shallow, so it is a very strong knife.
    Lion Steel craftsmanship is exceptional.
I see it as a something like a better cutting Ratmandu :D

Gotta be my Junglas-2. I jumped on the shorter Junglas as soon as it was released. It’s everything I want in a big knife. Heft, enough length but not overly long, great sheathing, Rowen heat treat.

There’s no way I could have picked a small knife. They are a dime a dozen and truly everywhere but a big blade stands out for me. I only keep the ones I truly enjoy.

All time favorite? Has to be my Izula. I liked it from the second I took it out of the envelope it came in.

    image.jpeg

Fantastic shape. Will easily do 99% of my camp knife tasks.

    image.jpeg
    Sharpens easy..
    image.jpeg
And keeps that edge for lots of work.

Lite and unobtrusive. Neck knife, ruler pocket, pack strap...paired to the right tool for your geography and season. It's a win. It's in the left side pouch of my "always ready" pack, the one I grab when the swamps siren song calls to me. :)

The BK9 is my current fav, just finished modding it a bit. Thea choppy and stabby! The TKC handles are insanely comfy

I love them for their value and usefulness. EDC is a victorinox tinker with Venom green G10 but my favorite is the hiker. It was my first Swiss Army knife (the wenger version 85mm) I upgraded to a set of orange g10 and a Ferro rod from tortoise gear that fits the toothpick slot.

L.T. Wright Outback. Super comfortable handle, holds an edge really well.

My Victorinox Farmer is still my go-to blade for EDC around town, the Outback is my favorite.

Currently it's the JG5. Funny as this was where my PR4 was sitting for a long long time. I forced myself to start using it a lot. I definitely appreciate how thin the stock is on this one, and once I convexed the edge I really started enjoying using it for outdoors tasks. It's light and long enough to be used as my primary cutting tool hear in the desert. It's what I primarily use when heading out in the bush now. IMG_7220.JPG

Does anyone else find it ironic that Caleb lives in the desert but his knife is pictured in running water? ;)

This was a tough one for me...I have a favorite for every occasion lol...the two that mean the most to me is the brass lockback my dad made that I recently inherited and another knife that found its way into my hands while my mother was passing (a thread for another time)...so I decided to go with my favorite knife that gets used the most ....my Izula. Shes been used hard and just keeps asking for more...
