Seems to be an ever increasing number of fakes on ebay. They didn't even pull the last one from china I reported, they at least used to pull those. It's sad deal checking the completed sales on this junk, lots of people think they have a good knife. https://www.ebay.com/itm/335812238394 https://www.ebay.com/itm/135552429224 https://www.ebay.com/itm/135557374434 https://www.ebay.com/itm/135557102095 https://www.ebay.com/itm/135554403951 https://www.ebay.com/itm/335812300027 This was on the first page of the search.
Now they are using US cities in the location but indicating Vietnam as the origin. Putting out JG3's and carving Axes. Is there an ESEE dealer in Vietnam? https://www.ebay.com/itm/388035874508 https://www.ebay.com/itm/396284980414
Another new seller with a ton of "ESEE" carving axes. @5col , is this an authorized seller? they are using the same pics as the chinese and vietnam vendors. https://www.ebay.com/itm/356662791208
There’s a lot of Esee fakes recently. I’ve reported over and over on a specific seller to no avail. He even mocks people who leave him negative reviews and eBay does nothing about it.
It's not that simple, at least for me, I feel obligated to call out a cheat when I see one. They have made it very difficult to stop but even the fact this thread exists helps the owners protect their trademarks just a bit. Tracking all the fake stuff is a collector thing as well. No good collector book gets written that doesn't have a section on fakes, I've bought a few just to have examples, mostly from people that got took.
