Just to be clear, I'm not trying to stir anything. Just relaying a hello for the guy.
Understood. Just answering a question.
I’m the one who asked.

When i get the time i want to make some camp utensils.
Like spoons and stuffs? I want to make some as well.
You got it! Way back when i got a spoon from James Gibson and it inspired me.
Yeah same here, I have one of the copper spoons from James. It's a neat little thing.
Same. That is a great spoon. Replaced my titanium spork thing i was using.
Finished up another big Henry today.
Putting the finishing touches on this thing. Wax finish and last minute polished top.
oh man that is wicked! you should make a tomahawk with a skull hammer head
Made this a number of years ago in the shop at my Dads old school. 1/2" square stock steel, hammered into a point.
still need to do an epoxy/ leather wrap on it.
CR123 battery for scale
Its not done yet......still need to heat it up and let it cool slowly in the oven...gotta drill 2 holes for the epoxy cord wrap, plus a lanyard hole. Then i'm going to heat it, quench it, temper it in the oven and blacken it with beeswax.
Made some not so great leaf keychains today.
It was a bad weekend for me, so this nice little package arrived today to cheer me up.
What do you plan to use it for?
That is a beaut!!!
Thanks, the peen on this thing is massive. It might as well be another hammer. Got plenty of hammers, but wanted one for really dispersing steel on big leaves.
Nothing specific today, just getting familiar with the new hammer.
