    You didn't get yours yet?

    That's weird.

I think I'm going to buy one of these to replace my 14" Tram bolo that my neighbor borrowed, uses a lot and forgot that it was borrowed (he's 90ish).

It looks like it'll make a great yard/camp tool.

Anyone have them for preorder yet?

"What the **** are you talking about? The Libertariat is not the issue here, Expat. I'm talking about drawing a line in the sand, Expat. Across this line, you DO NOT... Also, Expat, the Libertariat is not the preferred nomenclature. Handy Machette, please.

Oh Expat I usually don't do any reviews but we can call this "first impressions." The libertariat... I am happily surprised at the over all weight and balance of this knife, holly pork butt it's impressive. Think leaf spring with an edge. I can already tell it's going to be a fierce chopper. The wooden handles seem to be well sanded and formed and it's definitely comfortable in the hand as the brass pins are firmly seated and smooth. The hammer like finish is extremely bad ass and is my favorite yet. And lastly as I am a smell junky, (we all know I ain't normal) I was immediately reminded of days long gone. Ode of steam engine? It smelled just like the oil they used on the old steam train at Stone Mountain back in the 70's. Over all, I can't wait to get out and bust up some crap with it. I suspect it's going to replace my long abused Ontario SP-8. Thank you for a great tool.

P.S. The sheath is crap but the quality of the tool at that price makes up for it.

You're not really supposed to use the sheath. The hole in the tip is for turning it into a neck knife (decoration only)

That's makes more sense. Flavor Flav should have been wearing meat cleavers around his neck instead those damn clocks.

Life effing SUX sometimes. Mine isn't scheduled to arrive until Monday. That means it will be a week before I get a chance to put my mitts on it.

Mine should arrive tomorrow. I’ll put it to use as soon as the rain stops. Need to finish clearing some brush and vines at the edge of the tree line around my lot. We built this new porch and are always outside now. I hate looking at the scrub.

Clear brush. Wipe on pants. Go inside. Slice sammichea and pork. Expat blades do it all.
