Yes, what I saw online indicated that this cast metal might have voids in it. (there were pictures) and therefor extra risky if the voids show up where the threads are to be made. Easier to order a new bolt/bolt handle.
I forgot about this thread!
On my old R700, I just went with a KRG lift knob. It's a clamshell that covers the end of the factory knob. Doesn't look terrible and works really well for what it is.
Looks like one third minute of angle to me? Very nice, and thanks for posting your results.
Thanks, looks interesting. I`ll consider it.
Not bad for a cheap factory rifle. No problem. Can’t wait to get them out so I can dial it in and get some 5 and 10rd groups
Latest acquisition, the tan/tan Sig P365 for the wife. This thing molds into your hand a shoots like a laser beam. And of course the obligatory black and FDE family photo.
Okay now I’m blaming this on you guys. That other thread about the .22 made me go and order a tactical solutions 10/22 x-ring TD backpacker blk/blk. I’m totally blaming it on all of you if my wife asks.
and I purchased A backpacker stock for my ruger 10/22 Takedown.
who knew being good at tetris would pay off someday?
Couple of my guns here in England. And a RAT 3 Mil

I thought handguns were banned in the UK.
My guess is it is a ".22 Target Pistol" ....
Off topic, but any info on that jacket? Looks nice, lots of pockets.
