It is soooo cool I got #5. Now...how can I protect the logo and number and still use it? I don't want a safe queen...
And yes, it feels totally different in hand. I have a handmade reproduction French Trade Knife, a copy of an original. This is the closest thing I've ever felt to it. Makes me wonder if I want a 4hm instead of a pr4..
Had to run up to the office and my wife just texted me and said the mail finally came. Now I have to wait a few more hours... First world problems...
Does the handle on the 6hm feel thin for the size of the knife? I have the 4hm and I'm trying to imagine how it compares on a larger blade. Is the handle about the same on the 6hm?
No the 6hm handle is considerably larger than the 4hm. Not in a bad way, just appropriate for a larger knife.
I never got shipping notification, but mine was delivered today. #16 Does anyone know what the number is below "Made in the USA"? Mine is "1530", but I've seen other numbers too. Doesn't look like a date.
Thank you. I was thinking the 16/250 would have been the Serial Number. Or Serial Killer, whichever one works.
Mine came today too. No shipping notice but that’s fine. #6 @DiscoveryLover the serial number is the hm6 number, not the group buy number. ETA: thank you ESEE @shaneadams90 @Jeff Randall @Patrick Rollins @jodi and anyone else involved!
I'm still overwhelmed at the serial number I received. So glad I got in on this, thank you guys for doing this group buy.
#19 arrived. Really pleased with this knife. I love the balance, the g10 scales, the black oxide finish and sharp spine! This knife is going to get used hard!
