Anyone know if all of them sold out. I have a friend asking if he can get one. Haven't been around on here much to ask. Looks like they are still available. . Disregard question!
#107 is home on the SE coast. Thanks again for making this happen @shaneadams90 (I thought you were saving #1 for me ). I really dig this design and it's likely going to be my main field knife. I'm sorry to have gone off the radar on you guys for a bit. My schedule got completely uprooted in late summer and I haven't had much spare time to check in (or check out depending on how you look at it). I hope to get out and get some more shots of these two in tandem during some much needed R&R.
@Kaw-liga Glad to see you back on the radar....Life happens man, we all know that...awesome photos of the GB6HM and thanks for sharing!
I was thinking about making a set of liners for mine and getting an ESEE kydex sheath too. Do you happen to know the thickness of the spacer material you used? Thanks, your work looks sharp!
wish i had been hanging around when this went live. @shaneadams90 if you guys find any leftovers that somehow didn't make it into inventory, let me know..
That won't happen as they are all gone....however I am seeing them pop up on the ESEE FB Group from time to time an on occasion here in our Classifieds....
i know....but when you guys move a box that's been in the same spot for the last 10 months and you find one that had somehow fallen back there, languishing in the dusty dark recesses, alone and afraid.....remember me. that's all i'm asking.
I swapped my black scales out for the regular 6HM micarta scales. These are from a kayaking trip over Memorial Day weekend. I meant to post them up here. We covered 20+ miles on the St. Marys River that weekend in record high temps. I really got to use this thing and I love it! I hope that the black oxide finish isn't some passing fad. Being able to scrape tinder and a ferro rod with an ESEE was both pleasant and odd. @matthew I see these in fs/ft forums on occasion. Keep looking and one is bound to surface. When I posted these pics on IG I did make mention of how badly I feel for anyone who missed out on this group buy.
I know this knife wasn't made for "Me" as I'm not an Esee fanboy. This Is my first Esee. I saw this knife being sold on their website when they first came out.... I waited a week too long, and they were gone! I saw this one pop up recently on BF....it was in Canada. And now it's home. I really do like this knife. Normal I'm tweaking Becker's, really changing them up! The 6hm group but is Almost perfect.... I know what I'd do differently, but they are minor issues. My favorite part of the knife is how simple it is. I come from a design background, and I know simple solutions are Much more difficult to come up with. It's close to being the perfect woods/camp knife. I'm going to use and learn from this knife more before I start grinding into it.... Thank You Esee. #85
The GB 6HM to me is the best looking ESEE made so far. Followed by the regular 6 HM Such clean lines, perfect design
I agree, she's pretty.... I've had numerous "normal people"...not knife people saying that it's Sexy looking.
