    Well after doing some repairs to one of the neighbors horse paddocks I did some work in the garden.
    Spread some 15yr old manure

    Now I don't want you guys to get jealous of my gardening skills but...... We planted some carrots, in a metal bin, on my apartment balcony

    That said it's been two days and we still don't have carrots so my expectations are low haha

    Well it's been two now...

    On a serious not though, does anybody have experience with growing vegetables that don't require tons of direct sunlight? We only get a few hours(at most) of direct sun to our balcony and we would like to grow more but I don't want a bunch of stunted veggies

    @STPNWLF no one here can compete with you! Except maybe @Delkancott Great looking garden. I’m jealous of those almost ripe tomatoes.

    I do have some small green ones. Did a little weed maintenance today with the tiller and hoe.
    This is about as good as it gets in our garden.

    Put a mirror or some sort of foil wall behind the planter to reflect light. Seems to work well on my friends patio bucket garden.
