Hey, is there a listing number for this? I have not seen a fake Model 3 before, but if this is a true counterfeit I can knock it offline in about 24 hours.
Another one of these came up this morning. @Woodguy gave me a heads up and I reported it. We'll see what happens. It was easier knocking the counterfeits down when they were all Izulas. I probably wouldn't have noticed this one, nor the JG5s that @Jtallen83 found. If I don't respond quickly, folks are welcome to email me: andy at 5col dot net.
Here is a link to another with Tyler Texas as a location, gotta be phony with that box and the plastic wrap. https://www.ebay.com/itm/226154992015
Already pulled down by seller "due to an error in the listing", but that seller has a lot of negative feedback for selling other counterfeit items. Also, if you look at what he's currently selling, it's a mix of recognizable brands and nonsense Chinese brands, which suggests the recognizable brands are probably all counterfeit. He's selling level 3a ballistic panels made by Yangfang Security Technology Co., Ltd. What could go wrong? Seller is seeyanextweek. Let's keep an eye on him.
Thanks, I just sent in the report. That guy's feedback indicates he's been selling a number of counterfeit knives.
Never mind, ebay responded to my report telling me there is nothing wrong. You would think they could apply some kind of conspiracy charge against ebay for this behavior, they seem to know who to pay attention to and who to ignore, I'm on the ignore list but do my best to give them workload.
I often wonder what kind of liability they incur in situations like this. We'll never know, I guess. They will most likely listen to my report, since I used the Verified Rights Owner process. It's different than the system regular users would use to report problems on Ebay. We set it up years ago to try and help our friends at ESEE when fake Izulas were flooding Ebay.
