Recon run up multiple FSR’s in the eastern Fraser valley of BC . We wanted to scout out shooting spots, lake access , camping spots.

 

Wow. The word of the day is…”Envy”.

Best night sleep I can recall in the XLC. Temps must have been around freezing and zero humidity or condensation in the air. Wrapped a honcho poncho around my head and as a pillow/somthing to spoon with when I was on on my side JRB greylock 4 underneath and a 30° hammock gear topquilt. Bushys rig amazed me and he plowed through stuff I would have reckoned needed 35s minimum and a bigger lift . Things a mule !!

GREAT TIMES.

 

Yea it was full on mountain storm system, 50 km / hour winds, sleet, and water runoff everywhere . Creeks / rivers blown out big time

We drove up to last weeks camp, ducked up and bushwhacked to the lake. It was wet. The Snugpak Patrol ponchos performed EXCELLENT in the heavy rain .
