    I asked for a picture of the other side of the handle, which should show a serial number. I'm always very wary of fleabay items and normally wouldn't buy an ESEE from there, however I recently sold my ESEE 6 rig to my brother, and would like a replacement. I have an ESEE kydex sheath and a long pouch so all I really need is the the knife and a molle back.

    Well, it's been almost 24 hours since I messaged the individual, and have not gotten a reply. Unless I here from him, it's a hard pass. Midwayusa is selling them for $22 more, which is still a good deal, and would bring peace of mind.
