Despite the cool east TN Smoky Mountain weather, I've been chomping at the bit to get our new downsized RV out for a day so we headed over to one of our favorites, Indian Boundry Lake, in the Cherokee National Forest. Picked up some delicious soup to go on the way home. 2024 LTV RL. Transit 3500 chassis. AWD. 3.5L TT. 400 Watts Solar 200Ah LiOn 3.8 kW genset. Picked this up in Albuquerque, NM a few weeks ago.
That area is great. I'd love to live in the area. I spend a lot of time in the Tellico River/ Citico Creek area fishing, kayaking, hiking, etc. You could easily walk off the skyway and disappear forever. Nice new rv. I prefer that size to the huge ones.
We traded the 33 for the new 25. 33 wasn't large by RV standards and it served us well for two years, but it just was a lug if you wanted to be spontaneous while on the go. We got the larger RV out of our system. This will be the last one for us as we move towards aging out. Looking forward to having the Bald River Falls Bridge being done.
Took a day trip to the Smokies recently. No snow, no Spring. Some grazing deer and croakers on a 60 degree day. Drove the Cades Cove Loop.
