Thank you, buddy! It's been a busy autumn and winter so far, mostly working out in the gym and doing some over time at work, not much outdoors lately, but this will change. I have planned something for next month, fingers crossed.
I managed to see some snow last week at a mountain 50 km from where I live, as in the town we barely get any snow, I think the last time we had some was back in 2017..

Some more snow from yesterday, at the same place. I took the little one and her friend to slide with sleighs and they loved it.

Thank you! We hoped to eat a nice hot soup in that hut, but unfortunately it was not working. It was still open, in case that someone needs to sleep inside. At least we took our 2 year old there, her mum carried her in a baby backpack :D I guess we will have to return outside of ski season when the hut works. The ski tracks are going through the road, which gets closed and I guess that's why the hut wasn't working.

That used to be a single huge rock, that was carved by the Romans - during the winter, by pouring vinegar and hot water on it, then breaking it down with pickaxes. It's a soft type of stone - like sandstone.

Indeed it looks pretty Canadian during the winter, but it's ungodly hot in summer. The highest peak there is just below 3000 meters above the sea level.

I was home alone during the weekend, so it was adventure time :D

I had to take the new 6HM for a walk, it helped me make two fires and was a joy to use it. I don't know which one of the 6s I like better, both are awesome. The dog was super happy to be in the forest.

I had 9 days off, so we went to our village house. It was raining quite a bit, I even had to light the fireplace every day and it is June! Crazy weather. Anyway, we did a few hikes, some cave exploration and enjoyed some good food and drinks on a little ship on the Danube river. It was awesome and we will go back in September when there won't be as much vegetation, as in some places the grass was up to my neck. It has been raining every single day for more than a month, so it was quite the jungle.

Kozarnika cave - a friend of mine was part of the guys that researched it back in '96. It's not proven yet, but scientists think that the earliest human remains in Europe might be the ones found there, as they have found a tooth of some if the Homo species that is dated 1.2 - 1.4 millions of years old. Pretty crazy. There are a lot of bats there and it's kind of smelly, but it was interesting to see. My daughter went with me to the bottom of the cave twice, she absolutely loved it.
