So I am looking for an attachment method for a molle pouch. The pouch has molle attachment points but no method of attachment.
    • It is for my day hiking bag, for an axe sleeve, so it needs to be reliable and not prone to come off.
    • It doesn't matter if it is rigid or not
    • Just looking for the best. I've look at Vanquest, Blackhawk, Maxpedition, and Condor and countless others.
    • What do you use and recommend

so, you have the pouch and you are looking for a way to molle it onto your bag? It doesn't come with molle straps?

I'm a little confused with what you're looking for but I have used these to attach sheaths to molle very effectively:

    https://ads.midwayusa.com/product/7...ting - Holsters & Belts-_-Blade-Tech-_-714296

Those can be screwed onto a sheath if there are attachment points and then molle-d to the vest or pack.

If that's not what you're asking for, sorry, I misunderstood.

Yes the pouch is an older Maxpedition pouch that didn't come with the attachment method. The attachmentnpoints are there but you have to supply the attachment method.

Its easy to do. I can talk you through it. May be on the difficulty scale of medium to hard though.

That Tactical Tailor is awesome. Flexible yet a solid hold once in use. Super easy to put on and remove. It's the only one I'll use.

I made my own by hand. It was super easy. Took an old leather belt and cut it into two strips. I folded one end over a few inches sewed it with a metal d-ring in the loop (i suck at sewing). I fed the belt in betwen the loops of the pouch and pack I was attaching it to....the d-rings were added to make it quick release. I looped a piece of paracord between the 2 d-rings and all i have to do is grab that pcord loop and give a quick firm tug and instantly the pouch is free from the pack
