Recently made these arrows to match my bow...
Thanks. Feel free to toss up some pics.
Cool. I may. I’ve got a few
Are you ever going to move back east? Excellent detail on those.
Thanks and probably not back east.
4 for 4
Man I’ve been shooting my compound lately this makes me want to get a recurve again. Also, I need an ESEE t shirt lol
Nice back quiver
Man, I really miss trad archery. I used to be so into it, and a bike wreck a few years ago tore ligaments in both shoulders, and I haven't been able to draw any of my bows since. I should probably try to find a lightweight, 25-35 lb bow to start building up strength with again. In the meantime, keep the pics coming!
From today. About 37-38 yards to a buck laying down but just the head is visible. Wish I could upload the video because I got him. #oneanddone
Thanks. It was a score. Purchased on Esty for $135 shipped.
Ok, this thread is prompting me to dust off some old pics (and hopefully get shooting again....):
From the annual trad archery get-together in Pocatello:
Looking for elk during a fresh Sept. dusting...
Grouse for dinner (the only meat I usually bring home from an archery elk hunt - haha...):

My favorite part of the post!!
Great stuff and beautiful looking bow. More pics please especially of that bow. What is it?
That's a Big Jim's "Thunderchild." #50 @ 28" and a blast to shoot:
Nice! You definitely have to get a lightweight bow. Get back into it.
So one thing that always intriqued me is the bear takedown recurve. Is it worth it over say a bear grizzly?
