Went for a walk in my local woods the other day, with the specific goal of getting some good photos of a new blade.

But, when the sun began to go down, the woods burst into a beautiful, golden glow which was quite honestly breath taking.

I was having trouble capturing it on my phone camera (my full size, real camera was being used as well, but I haven't gone through those pics yet).

That's when I realized I was being an idiot, and changed the white balance.

Lo and behold! Golden glow captured.

Quality isn't the best, but it certainly picked up that golden, Halloweeny glow.

Anybody good with mushrooms know what these are? I've yet to take the time to search through my field guides.

This gnarly, old tree, in front of the deep, golden glow of the forest was just amazing in person. Looked like there should've been a haunted house beside it:D

And here's a sneak peek of the new steel. I haven't had it long enough to give a final verdict, but thus far, I'm loving it. Seriously.

This photo shows the aftermath of taking a single swipe at a free hanging (no support) 1" diameter, summer dried and seasoned Big Leaf Maple branch.

The resounding "CRACK!!" as the blade made contact honestly surprised me.

This blade strikes like lightning.

    cool pics man.

very orange in your neck of the woods.....here its very yellow and green........

you GOTTA carve a spooky pumpkin and take it back there and light it up internally with candles and take pics. Get some dry ice and scatter it about and spray with water.
