used up some funds in my PayPal to get two pouches of 5COL's EPDM Rubber Ranger Bands. I got 1 pouch of LARGE, and 1 Assorted. My first thought on opening these envelopes was "damn these are really tough envelopes, I'm going to save these for tinder storage". LOL>... 5COL already thought of re-using the envelopes! Sneaky Devil! putting them to use right away Quality is 110%. THICK , consistent thickness all round, and TOUGH SMALL size rocks for excess webbing strap control GREAT product. Great Person and Company to buy from. Top Tier. 10/10 going to do a burn test this weekend with one of the small ones.
Great post bushy. Ill have to order some now. His paracord now shows up in those bags and i thought the same thing.
Thanks for the review @Bushman5 ! Glad you guys like our product packaging. And the Ranger Bands. We decided to come up with reusable product packaging for a bunch of our 5col-branded products like parachute cord, cache tubes, ranger bands, parachute bands, our water storage bottles, ferro rod blanks, fresnel lenses, etc. The smaller items come in 15 oz. packages, and the bigger items come in 32 oz. packages. We also use these for bulk Fast-Fire tinder cubes and AustriAlpin Cobra buckles. Along the same lines, if we send you an email through our site, we always try to include a link for a free survival manual download (usually FM 21-76). There's also a QR code on the product packaging for that. Our friend Chris at Skills2Survive actually made a quick video about the packaging, just to see if it holds water (it does).
UPDATE: i realized today that i only have 5 large EPDM ranger bands left, out of 65 total........ Where the heck did they all go? I have them all over my L.R.R.P.R. webbing gear, securing loose strap ends, I have them on the Esee Advanced Fire Kit to secure multiple wraps of 80lb braid fishing line. I have them around tins to seal out moisture. A bunch on knife sheaths. Three large ones hold a Izzy dressing on my webbing shoulder straps. Dang things are everywhere.
I've really enjoyed mine too. I'll be needing to place another order soon as well. Glad to hear that the line is expanding to even larger sizes.
