I've been (slowly) picking up bowl carving over the past year and have met with gradually better results (after several soul-crushing failures ). There are several well reviewed books on the topic and I was wondering if any of you had recommendations. If possible, something I could toss into my pack and carry along on kayaking/camping trips. Some that I looked at were as big as a Brittanica volume. Thanks for any advice folks!
Thanks to @The Warrior for his thread and @ASH for the Ben Orford video in it. I ordered an RB3 this week and used it with my tomahawk to get back to practicing.
Very indoor kitchen/ artsy leaning.. But I really like the step by step instructions with very detailed pictures.
Much appreciated @RocketmanDane , this is one of the books I had looked at. I found a used copy on Amazon and had a few bucks of credit. Won't set me back much at all.
