That's the best way to build a fire in it for extended cooking. Lasts about an hour without feeding it.

    Nice Kit.
I just bought an Aeropress...I've only used it in the house... Can't wait to take it out on my next solo hike.

Happy to say, I brewed my first cup using the Aeropress... pretty good cup, and small and convenient too.

I used the Bushcraft Essentials... and a small alcohol burner with 2 oz of alcohol to boil some water. My son is a big fan of Black Rifle Coffee and we bought a bag of "Caffeine or Die", I packed up a few scoops and some sugar...

Hiked about 3miles on the Saugatuck Trail, Climbed to the top of a rock outcrop, overlooking the frozen reservoir... took some time.. to brew my thoughts and enjoy the view and the cup.

It tasted even better than it looked! I'm heading out for some winter camping this weekend and cooking all my meals on my Firebox Stove. I'll take more pics.

I got this Swiss made "Borde Kocher" today from my girlfriends aunt and uncle when they were cleaning out their stuff today. They had no clue what it was, I figured it was some kind of outdoor stove. It looks like it had very little use. Entering the mark on the bottom showed some youtube movies with similar modern examples of this old stove.

I think it a nice packable water cooking system. Will try it out soon, so I have no clue how well it works and if the cork still closes the bottle properly. Not sure if I want to use it with wood or buy a little alcohol burner for it to fit inside.

    Here's some pics of it:

Do any of you guys have ever seen these before and maybe even have experience with these stoves?
I's be interested to hear some more about it.

Never seen one of those before but it looks cool! I'd like to see it in use. Here's my newest Firebox Stove. Testing it at home before I take it to the field.

Likewise. Love my Ti Emerblit, but I've been curious about the Firebox. Looking forward to a report.

I have the bigger Firebox Stove and I'm very happy with it. I'm sure the Nano will work well too. I'll probably use them both in combination most often. Sometimes it will be nice to go light with just the Nano. It boiled water quickly today at home. Not much of a test but I wanted to familiarize myself with it before I take it in the field. I'll be posting more pics as soon as I get time. Lots more camping trips already planned this spring.
